Like did the ‘young southerners’ raise themselves or??

okay but I’m a young southerner??? I know plenty of kids that are leaving home for college because they can’t handle the racism. Even then, lots of them are staying to hopefully be a voice that can change things. Just because someone raises you doesn’t mean that you have to follow their example. Are there some that are still racist? Yes. Do they represent the whole? NO. Seriously I think all of you guys are just trying to find someone worse than you to blame. 

I think that you’re being a typical white person and trying to absolve yourself of personal responsibility.

You want to blame the old, blame conservatives, blame Southerners, blame poor whites and on and on it goes as long as you don’t examine yourself.

Your age group is no better than your parent’s. If so, as a Black person in my 20s I wouldn’t be experiencing the same racism as my parents. And my grandparents. And so on and so forth.

Have we forgotten that a 21 year old man just murdered 9 Black ppl???
